A TEENAGER was remanded to prison over allegations that he robbed a woman last week.
Carlton Saunders, 19, appeared before Magistrate Samuel McKinney after he was accused of using a hand gun to rob Jennifer Strachan of $8.85 in cash and $42 worth of clothing on December 16.
Due to the nature of the charge, Saunders was not required to enter a plea and the case was adjourned to February 26 for service of a voluntary bill of indictment (VBI).
In the meantime, the accused was denied bail and remanded into custody.
He has a right to apply to the Supreme Court for bail.
