A MAN is in hospital after he was stabbed while walking on West Bay Street yesterday morning.
Police said that shortly after 2am, the victim was walking on West Bay Street near McDonald’s restaurant, when he was approached by two men who stabbed him about the body before running from the area. The injured man was transported to hospital and is listed in serious condition.
New Providence police are also looking for the men behind two armed robberies that occurred on Tuesday.
In the first incident, shortly after 3pm, a man was sitting in a yard on Key West Street near Cordeaux Avenue, when he was approached by a man armed with a firearm, who robbed him of cash, before running away.
In the second incident, according to a police report, shortly after 7pm, a man was walking on Baillou Hill Road in the vicinity of BPL, when he was approached by a male armed with a sharp instrument, who robbed him of a cell phone, before running away.
No injuries were reported during these two incidents. Investigations are ongoing.
