• Golden Gates 50th Church Anniversary Celebration

Archbishop Roston L Davis and Pastor Althea Davis welcome Dr Gary Curry, pastor emeritus of Evangelistic Temple, and Archbishop Alfred A Owens of Greater Mount Calvary in Washington, DC.

• 37th Anniversary of Mount Olive Baptist Church

Time: 11am

Venue: Mount Olive, Meadow and Augusta Streets

The theme for this celebration, hosted by Rev Dr CB Moss, is taken from John 9:4 (KJV): “I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work.”

• 45th Anniversary & Gregorian Gems Awards Luncheon

Time: 2pm - 6pm

Venue: British Colonial Hilton, Governor’s Ballroom

St Gregory the Great Anglican Church will honour Marjorie Archer, Shirley Braynen, Randy Conliffe, Sam Cumberbatch, Audrey Dorsett, Gloria Gibson, Shedrach Johnson, Delores Miller, Hattie Moxey, Clayton Newbold, Rudolph Pratt, Marge Stuart, Rose Strachan, and Sharlene Sweeting. Tickets $80.

• Chanting the Hanuman Chalisa

Time: 2pm - 6pm

Venue: Sivananda Ashram Yoga Retreat Bahamas

The Hanuman Chalisa is a sacred 40-verse devotional hymn recited to the Hindu monkey god Hanuman. Participants will chant the Chalisa along with musical accompaniment.
