NEW Providence police are investigating the circumstances surrounding an alleged drowning.
Shortly after 2pm last Thursday, an adult black male was rescued from waters on Goodman’s Bay, West Bay Street, by concerned citizens who begin CPR until paramedics arrived. The man was taken to hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
Foul play is not suspected at this time, however, an autopsy will be performed to determine the exact cause of death, police said.
