A 30-year-old man was arraigned on a charge of attempted murder yesterday.
Steven Oliver was accused of trying to cause the death of Phillipa Farrington on July 17.
During his arraignment before Chief Magistrate Joyann Ferguson-Pratt yesterday, Oliver was not required to enter a plea and the matter was adjourned to November 4 for service of a voluntary bill of indictment (VBI).
Bail was denied and the defendant was remanded to the Bahamas Department of Correctional Services until trial.
