A MAN was yesterday granted bail in Magistrate’s Court after denying allegations of killing a pedestrian while driving.
Javado Bain appeared before Senior Magistrate Carolyn Vogt-Evans charged with one count of killing in the course of dangerous driving.
Bain is accused of driving recklessly on Mackey Street on February 4, causing the death of 67-year-old Denante Mesadieu.
Bain pleaded not guilty to the charge brought against him and was granted $10,000 bail with one surety ahead of his May 27 trial.
Magistrate Vogt-Evans also told the accused he must sign in to the nearest police station on Mondays at 7pm.
