A MAN who denied lying to a police officer was granted $1,000 bail ahead of his trial.
David Major was accused of deceiving Woman Constable White on October 18. The prosecution said the defendant committed the act in an attempt to evade arrest.
During a hearing before Senior Magistrate Derence Rolle-Davis, Major denied the allegation and the matter was adjourned to January 28, 2021 for trial.
The defendant was granted $1,000 bail in the interim.
