THREE men were arrested in connection with a stabbing incident that left another man in hospital.
Police said shortly after 11am on Tuesday, a man was walking in the area of Buttonwood Street, Pinewood Gardens, when he was approached by a group of men.
An argument followed that resulted in the man being stabbed several times about the body. He was taken to hospital where he is in critical condition.
Acting on information officers from the Operations Unit went to a residence in Pinewood Gardens where they arrested three male suspects in connection with this incident.
Meanwhile, police are looking for a man who allegedly robbed two women on Tuesday.
Police were told that shortly after noon, two women went to the area of the Department of Social Services located on Robinson Road to meet with a seller with whom they negotiated via Facebook.
While at that location, they met with a man who presented the item he had for sale. During the negotiations, the man produced a handgun and robbed both women of cash before fleeing in a black Mitsubishi vehicle.
Investigations into both matters continue.
