THE Ministry of Agriculture and Marine Resources has closed its headquarters for deep cleaning and sanitisation after an employee tested positive for COVID-19.
The office closed yesterday morning and will remain closed until Thursday, September 17 at 9am.
A statement from the Cabinet Office said that during this period, all remaining outlets will remain open as usual, such as the Department of Agriculture, the Department of Marine Resources, the Bahamas Agricultural and Industrial Corporation, BAHFSA, BAMSI and GRAC.
The Ministry of Health’s Surveillance Unit has initiated contact tracing to determine the level of exposure to all employees, and all other protocols are being followed.
