A 27-year-old man who denied being in possession of an unlicensed firearm and quantity of ammunition was granted bail ahead of his trial.
Dominique Adderley was accused of having a black and silver .9mm pistol and four live rounds of .9mm ammunition on April 16.
He denied the charges before Chief Magistrate Joyann Ferguson-Pratt and the matter was adjourned to July 21 and 22 for trial. In the meantime, the accused was granted $8,500 bail.
Adderley is required to to report to the Fox Hill Police Station every Wednesday on or before 6pm leading up to his trial.
