A 52-YEAR-OLD woman was charged with possession of dangerous drugs in the Freeport Magistrate’s Court yesterday.
Lucita Elizabeth Wells, of Inagua Avenue, appeared before Deputy Chief Magistrate Debbye Ferguson.
She was represented by Carlson Shurland.
The prosecution maintains that on Monday, April 26, at Freeport, she was found in possession of seven grams of Indian hemp.
She was also charged with possession of dangerous drugs with intent to supply and conspiracy to possess dangerous drugs with intent to supply.
She is also accused of being concerned with others while conspiring to possess dangerous drugs with intent to supply.
Wells pleaded not guilty to all the charges.
Deputy Chief Magistrate Ferguson granted $3,500 cash bail, with conditions attached. Wells must sign in at Central Police Station, starting May 3 on Mondays and Thursdays.
The case was adjourned to July 7.
