A 21-year-old who denied having a loaded pistol was yesterday remanded to prison pending a bail hearing.
Darius Foster was arrested after police said they found him with a .40 Austria Glock with 15 live rounds of ammunition.
He pleaded not guilty to possession of an unlicensed firearm and a quantity of ammunition during his arraignment before Senior Magistrate Carolyn Vogt-Evans.
However, before the issue of bail could be determined, the prosecution requested a brief adjournment to review Foster’s antecedents.
The case was subsequently adjourned to today.
Foster was remanded into custody overnight pending the magistrate’s decision.
