EDITOR, The Tribune.
Once again headline after headline of soaring sales purchased by the elites, yet the government refuses to tax this insane wealth but actually has the audacity to put a cap on it.
Furthermore, this administration has the fortitude to tax the poor and middle class 12% on life necessities and 1%+ on their homes.
All the while the obscene wealthy elites are capped at only $60,000 or .1 - .2% of the market value.
It should be obvious to every working Bahamian that this is intentional, and elimination of the middle class is the goal.
There can be no other explanation at this point. Double the tax now on all properties over $2.5m Mr PM!
Or is our government in bed with these billionaire elites? After all their businesses, communities, etc. never had to close.
All you Marxists (including many journalists and billionaires) constantly talk about increasing taxes. Now stop talking the talk and walk the walk!
The opposition shouldn’t have to campaign or show their face this election. The idiocy of this administration has handed them a landslide victory.
Unless, of course, one already knows who will be counting the votes.
