It is traumatizing and shocking that the United Kingdom has been falsely convinced by Zimbabwean president Mnangagwa that the human rights situation in Zimbabwe has dramatically improved and therefore asylum seekers can be deported to Zimbabwe. The merciless and cruel Zimbabwean movement has been arresting activists and members of the opposition party Movement for Democratic Change Alliance in record numbers.
There is superabundant evidence in the media that the Zimbabwean government is and its agents are abducting, torturing, ill-treating, degrading, killing, harassing, arresting members of the opposition and activists. Britain should continue to offer sanctuary to Zimbabweans who have fled the rogue ZANU PF regime. The world should put pressure on President Emmerson Mnangagwa to urgently transform Zimbabwe democratically or resign.
