THE country’s COVID-19 death toll has increased to 182 after the death of a 43-year-old woman was reclassified as coronavirus related on Friday.
The New Providence woman died on February 7.
According to the Ministry of Health, 13 new cases were recorded on Saturday, five of which are in New Providence, six in Grand Bahama and one in Abaco.
This pushed the nation’s coronavirus toll to 8,629.
Seven new COVID-19 cases were recorded on Friday, March 5, while nine new cases were recorded on Thursday.
At last report, 20 patients were in hospital with one in intensive care.
