A 28-year-old man was remanded to prison over allegations he attempted to rob a woman earlier this month.
Sheroy Mackey appeared before Magistrate Samuel McKinney accused of using a handgun to try to steal an undetermined amount of cash from Shenique Scavella on March 6.
Due to the nature of the charge, Mackey was not required to enter a plea and his case was adjourned to May 10 for service of a voluntary bill of indictment.
Bail was denied and he was taken into custody until that time.
He has a right to apply to the Supreme Court for bail.
