EDITOR, The Tribune.
I wish to share with your readers my experience on Friday when I received my first Covid-19 vaccine.
When I reached Loyola Hall there was adequate parking for all and the presence of our Defence Force added to the sense of security.
The volunteers who greeted me and ushered me to the correct spot were courteous, relaxed and very efficient.
Once inside the building I was impressed by the layout which had been established to allow each step of the process to have a degree of privacy. Very quickly I moved through the registration, vaccination and after the 15 minutes mandatory waiting time my certificate of COVID-19 vaccination was completed and I was free to go. All done in less than an hour.
The Bahamas is to be congratulated on this operation. Mr Fields and his team working with Rotary and other volunteers made this possible.
Thanks also to the many nurses and doctors who play such an important role in keeping us safe and well.
This also shows us when we work together for the common good we can achieve great things.

Nice to see someone complementing the work done by Bahamian people for a change.
