TYLER Pinder continues to excel on the AAU Circuit for his Oklahoma based Gym Time Hoops club.
Pinder was one of the top performers at the recent KC Showcase and led his team to an undefeated record in Kansas City, Missouri.
The class of 2022 guard averaged 23 points and three assists per game while shooting 66 percent from three-point range (17-26). Gym Time Hoops finished the tournament at 4-0.
“He’s a bucket and one of the best three-point shooters we saw all weekend,” organisers posted to Twitter. “He made a ton of winning plays in crunch time too. Get in now before it’s too late”
Pinder recently reclassified to the class of 2022 and will spend his post grad season with a new programme, the Miami Prep Tornadoes.
“He is a can’t miss D1 Recruit,” Miami Prep said in a statement. “This combo guard is super skilled with tremendous scoring ability. Lights out shooter, super off the dribble and bounce.”
Pinder, a 6’2” sharpshooting guard, spent his senior season at Broken Arrow, a Class 6A programme in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.
This season, the Bahamian junior national team standout had 200 three pointers made in his high school career, was named second team All-Tulsa World and also won the Tulsa World’s Player of the Week award in February.
