The first sensible change. Hopefully the first of many to come! Looking forward to ending that stupid health visa next...

... now its time to stop the discriminating between "vaxxed" and "unvaxxed". Instead encourage antibody testing, so that those who have been exposed to the virus can make a more informed decision regarding taking the "shots" and companies and individuals don't have to do all this mandatory testing if "unvaccinated". That would be science at work!

What don't you get about this virus. It doesn't discriminate , people can be carriers with no effects but can pass it on, Healthy people get infected and die. So many anti vaxers in the Bahamas and abroad have died often citing their dying wish that they had been vaccinated. Why this reluctance to get vaccinated. when smallpox, polio and a host of other diseases have been defeated with vaccines. Vaccination works and whilst you can still catch covid it reduces your chances of hospital admission and ICU dramatically. Look at the statistics which in the Bahamas UK and other countries clearly show that out of all hospital admission for covid the vast majority are UNVACCINATED. Remember might be to late when you have covid as many have realised. I seriously doubt that now Brave has the position of PM that he has a magic solution to this terrible virus, but wish him well in trying. Time will tell.

@ OMG ... clearly you did not get the point, which is, 80% of people who get infected with covid may have no symptoms at all. These people would have already produced antibodies to the infection. In other words they have an acquired or natural immunity that is superior to that created by the shots that are being given. If these people have already had the infection and recovered and have a defense greater than the shot, why do they have to get the shot? If tests for antibodies show the "unvaxxed" have had the infection and already have immunity, tons of money can be saved in repeated testing and unnecessary shots for them! Whereas inferior immune stimulation from these shots require being topped up with a booster ever 2-3 months.

I havent heard of any "healthy" people dying. Just because somrine is normal weight doesn't mean theyre healthy. They could have hereditary high blood pressure, a heart condition, allergies, asthma, HIV any number of syndromes

So let us assume that Covid reads the media and is aware that it can infect only during the stipulated hours and not during curfew hours.

Im convinced curfews do nothing other than make the authorities feel like theyre doing something. They stay in place for1-2 months, cases die down naturally because the vulnerable have either recovered or died. Then the authorities declare look, cases our down! the curfew worked! The peace and quiet after 10PM was nice though. We really need noise ordinances in this town. Construction or infrastructural work should not be allowed on Sundays or before 7AM

In case you are not following the latest on vaccines. The Pfizer company acknowledged that yes, the vaccines wear off after 6-8 months leaving you with a compromised immune system. But they don’t recommend giving a third booster sho except only to at risk po. Meaning millions will be left with compromise immune suspicion. Now states like Florida says it will restrict third vaccines and decide who gets them. Meaning they will decide who lives or dies

no. meaning thst the strategy is to protect the vulnerable and mass vaccination was probably unnecessary
