A 32-year-old man was yesterday remanded to prison over allegations that he had sex with two underaged girls earlier this year.
Zendel Stubbs was arrested after he was accused of having sex with a 15-year-old girl and producing a video of the incident between July 13 and 14.
Prosecutors also accused Stubbs of having sex with a 12-year-old girl and alleged that he was found with a partially nude image exposing the minor’s chest sometime between July 1 and August 31.
When he appeared before Chief Magistrate Joyann Ferguson-Pratt, he was not required to enter a plea to the charges of unlawful sex, producing child pornography and possession of child pornography.
His case was subsequently adjourned to December for service of a voluntary bill of indictment.
In the meantime, Stubbs was denied bail and remanded to the Bahamas Department of Correctional of Services.
He has a right to apply to the Supreme Court for bail.
