TWO MEN were arraigned in a Magistrate’s Court yesterday on separate charges of causing harm and threats of harm.

Donovan Rolle, 21, appeared before Assistant Chief Magistrate Carolyn Vogt-Evans on a charge of causing harm.

At 1am on June 12 at Elizabeth Estates, Rolle is accused of harming Latheo Dean. He pleaded not guilty.

With there being no objection to bail it was granted to Rolle at $3,000 with one surety. Under the conditions of his bail the accused is expected to sign in at Elizabeth Estates Police Station on the last Sunday of each month. Failure to comply will result in his bail being revoked.

Rolle’s trial will commence on September 14.

The second man, Shane Hepburn, 30, also stood before Magistrate Vogt-Evans on a charge of threats of harm.

On June 10 in New Providence, Hepburn was arrested for threatening Michael Johnson.

However, due to the accused immediately pleading guilty to the charge, Magistrate Vogt-Evans only warned and discharged him for the matter.
