PRESIDENT Dwayne Stevens has confirmed that the New Providence Softball Association will now start its 2022 season over the weekend of July 1-2 in the Bankers Field at the Baillou Hills Sporting Complex.
Stevens, who also serves as president of the Bahamas Government Departmental Softball Association, noted that the fast-pitch league will begin on Friday, July 1, but the official opening ceremonies will take place on Saturday, July 2.
Games scheduled for Friday night are as follows:
7pm - University of the Bahamas Mingoes vs Johnson Lady Truckers (L)
8:30pm - Atlantis Titans
vs Chances Mighty Mitts
(M).
Saturday’s schedule
7pm - RAB Operators
vs Sunshine Auto Wildcats (L)
8:20pm - Official opening and ring ceremony
8:30pm – Cyber Tech
Blue Marlins vs C&S
Hitmen (M)
