PAUL Greene is set to transfer to a Junior College basketball powerhouse for the next step in his academic and athletic career.

Greene announced his commitment to Chipola College, a perennial contender in the NJCAA Tournament.

In his first season of collegiate basketball, the 6’8” freshman wing, had an immediate impact with the Three Rivers Community College Raiders.

He was named NJCAA All-Region XVI Second Team when the league announced its regular season honours.

In his debut season, Greene averaged 7.9 points and 7.9 rebounds per game in 29 appearances on 42 percent shooting from the field.

The former St George’s Jaguar also played at the prep level in Canada with J Addison Prep and was nominated for the BioSteel All-Canadian.

Chipola finished just shy of a second consecutive appearance in the NJCAA Championship Game.

For the tournament, Albury averaged 6.3 points per game. In his first season with the programme, he averaged 4.4 points on 52 percent shooting from the field.
