A MAN admitted yesterday to attacking someone with a cutlass on Halloween night, but denied causing harm to the victim.
Jamal Wilson, 38, appeared before Assistant Chief Magistrate Subusola Swain on charges of assault with a dangerous instrument and grievous harm.
At around 6pm on October 31 in Wilson Tract it is said that Wilson attacked Rollins Rolle with a cutlass around 6pm on October 31. According to prosecutors, Mr Rolle suffered serious injuries due to the attack.
While Wilson pleaded guilty to the assault, he pleaded not guilty to the grievous harm charge.
His bail was $7,000 with one surety.
Wilson is to return to court on January 17, 2023 for sentencing and the start of trial for his remaining charge.
