A MAN was granted bail yesterday after he was allegedly found with the shell of a gun and 11 rounds of ammunition last week.
Magistrate Lennox Coleby charged Vernon Davis, Jr, 20, with possession of a part of a firearm and possession of ammunition.
Officers reportedly arrested Davis after they found a black Austria Glock .40 and 11 rounds of .40 ammunition on him in New Providence on November 26.
After pleading not guilty, the defendant’s bail was set at $9,000 with one surety.
Davis’s trial is set to start on January 24.
