A 25-year-old man accused of sexually assaulting a 14-year-old girl twice in the last year is behind bars after being remanded in custody.
Quincy Edgecombe was charged with two counts of unlawful sexual intercourse before Senior Magistrate Carolyn Vogt-Evans.
On August 14, 2022, and February 1 this year in New Providence, Edgecombe allegedly sexually assaulted a 14-year-old girl.
Service of Edgecombe’s voluntary bill of indictment is slated for October 2. The accused will remain on remand until such time as he is granted Supreme Court bail.
