TWO men were granted bail after they were accused of having a loaded gun in their jeep outside a lounge on West Bay Street last week.
Magistrate Raquel Whyms charged Durelle Williams, 37, and Nico Flowers, 42, with possession of an unlicenced firearm and ammunition.
The two men were arrested outside Vapor’s Lounge after police allegedly found a black 9mm Smith & Wesson pistol and eight rounds of 9mm ammunition in their burgundy coloured jeep on October 2.
After both defendants pleaded not guilty to the charges, their bail was set at $7,000 each with one or two sureties. Williams is expected to sign in at Carmichael Road Police Station every Friday, while Flowers is expected to sign in at the Fox Hill Police Station.
The trial in this matter begins on November 29.
