THE Bahamas lies in the tropical Caribbean...you expect heavy rains and storms with considerable rainfall during the summer but Editor we build repave roads which take into zero consideration of heavy rains. Did Minister Sweeting director Engineers to go out drive around and report where the worst flooding was?
Letter writer have numerous times raised the flooding almost in front of OPM opposite Wynn Condo-Hotel on West Bay. they dug one well obviously blocked as the road is one lane.
Forget about in The Valley...Palmdale should be renamed ‘Flood-Dale...East Bay what did the Senator do about alleviating flooding except having PR TV moments Sir the road floods...no improvement.. Even the Airport road the run-off retains a depth of water and vehicles loose grip and oh yes crash count the BPL lamp poles down! ‘New Day?…not too sure PLP will be trusted in 2026...too arrogant...cocky...know it all.
