Accused of housebreaking, two teen brothers plead not guilty

TWO teen brothers were granted bail after being accused of breaking into a home in New Providence last month.

Senior Magistrate Algernon Allen, Jr, arraigned the two teen defendants, whose names are being withheld because they areĀ minors, on housebreaking charges.

The defendants were arraigned in the presence of their guardians.

A third juvenile was charged, but failed to appear in court.

The defendants were accused of breakingĀ into a New Providence residence sometime last month.

They both pleaded not guilty to the charge.

Their bail was set at $4,000 with one or two sureties each.

One of the defendants must sign in at the Grove Police Station every Wednesday by 6pm.

The trial in this matter begins on March 12, 2025.
