A 20-year-old man was fined $2,000 after admitting to breaching his curfew while on release for a pending murder charge.
Assistant Chief Magistrate Carolyn Vogt-Evans charged Lanado Thompson with four counts of violation of bail conditions.
While on release, the defendant breached his nightly residential curfew four times between December 12, 2023, and January 21 in New Providence.
After pleading guilty to the charge and expressing remorse for his actions, the defendant was fined $2,000 and risks eight months in prison if he fails to pay.
