A 40-year-old man was charged yesterday with molesting a 12-year-old boy four times between the spring and the summer.
Chief Magistrate Roberto Reckley arraigned Terry Sears on four counts of sexual intercourse with a minor of the same sex.
The defendant allegedly engaged in sexual intercourse with the underage boy between April 1 and June 29 in New Providence.
The chief magistrate told Sears his matter would be referred to the Supreme Court through a voluntary bill of indictment (VBI).
The accused will be remanded to the Bahamas Department of Correctional Services until his VBI is served on November 21.
