A FOUR-year-old boy is in critical condition after being found unconscious.
He was reportedly left unattended in a pool at a resort in Grand Bahama.
A woman relative was with the toddler and stepped away for a moment only to return and find the child unresponsive, according to a police report.
The lifeguard on duty removed the child from the water and performed CPR until EMS personnel arrived.
The near-drowning incident occurred around 3pm on Wednesday, July 24.
The boy was taken to the hospital for medical attention, where he remains in critical condition.
Police are continuing their investigations into the incident.
