Sponsored by the Grand Bahama Port Authority (GBPA), the three-day competition at Port Lucaya Marketplace is free to the public and will showcase 15 local talents, including singers, bands, and choirs. A total of 15 soloists, six bands, and three choirs will compete, with winners in each category receiving $2,500 and an overall prize of an additional $2,500.
The event runs from Friday, September 27, to Sunday, September 29, starting at 7pm nightly.
Kevin Tomlinson, Ambassador-at-Large for Cultural Affairs, praised the GBPA for creating opportunities for Bahamians to showcase their talents.
