A MAN who admitted groping a woman and defrauding her of $350 at her New Providence home was released until his sentencing later this month.
Christopher Strachan, 32, touched a 29-year-old woman’s private parts on May 28.
Earlier during the same incident, the accused asked the complainant for $350, saying he would return the money, but never did.
The pair had reportedly met online before the incident.
Strachan pleaded guilty to indecent assault and fraud by false pretences before Deputy Chief Magistrate Shaka Serville.
The defendant was released on his own recognisance until he returns for sentencing on June 30. The complainant will be present at that time.
Inspector Cordero Farrington prosecuted the case.
