A Mother’s Day message
HOW tragic it is to have a Mother’s Day! Just as tragic, I suppose, to have a Father’s Day. It takes two to tango. Sin has caused the separation. Isn’t it ideal to celebrate Parents’ Day, or better, Family Day?
MEDITATION: Historical moments
WHEN I submitted this Meditation it was the day of our national elections. At that point in time none of us knew just what the outcome would be. These were the sentiments and prayers concerning our nation that I expressed yesterday, and which I still think are worth considering as until we get it right:

General election comin’
WHAT a blessing to be living in so vibrant a democracy! This is a peaceful democracy; everyone is entitled to his opinion and should be protected in espousing his views on the same. Many countries yearn for that which we take for granted.
MEDITATION: Checking yourself
ONE of the sayings that my mother used was “pride goes before a fall”.
Christian Council aims to spread love and support
NEWLY appointed Bahamas Christian Council (BCC) President Bishop Delton Fernander said he hopes that under his leadership the body will have not only a national impact, but a community one as well.
How did celibacy become mandatory for priests?

MEDITATION: The Lord’s Prayer
Luke 11: 4: “He said to them, ‘When you pray, say Father, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come.’ This is a shorter and older version than the one in Matthew 6: 9-10 This, then, is how you should pray:‘Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven’.”
Seasons change
