Funeral service for Latisha Mariama Smith age 32, a resident of Freeport, Grand Bahama will be held at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness, Comet Road, Freeport, Grand Bahama, on Saturday, December 22, 2012 at 12:00 noon. Officiating will be Brother George Fox. Interment will follow in West End Public Cemetery, West End, Grand Bahama.
She is survived by her parents: Juliet and Lenworth Smith; sisters: Shalewa Smith and Stephanie Ramnarine; brothers: Dr. Kwesi Smith and Kwame Smith; sister-in law: Dr. Nafesa Smith; aunts: Sheila Butler and Judith Smith; uncle: Dwight Romeo Smith I; grand aunts: Frances Russell, Helen Hall and Mavis Mcintosh; grand uncles: Vincent Russell, Vernon and Rupert McIntosh; nieces: Akili and Aziza Smith; Indira Ramnarine; nephew: Vishal Ramnarine; numerous relatives and friends: The Russell family West Palm Beach, The Martins, Smiths, Russells and Johnsons families of West End and Eight Mile Rock; numerous cousins and other family members.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be made in the name of Latisha Smith to Lupus Bahamas c/o Dupuch & Turnquest Freeport, Grand Bahamas.
Family will receive friends at Russell’s and Pinder’s Funeral Home on Friday, December 21, 2012 from 12:00 noon to 6:00 p.m. and on Saturday, December 22, 2012, at 10:00 a.m. at the church until service time.
