Ida Jenette Smith, 95 of Garden Hills, New Providence and formerly of Chesters, Acklins, will be held on Saturday, February 4th, 2012 at Bethlehem Holiness Faith Mission, Strachan's Blvd., New Providence at 11:00a.m. Officiating will be Reverend Dereck Maycock, assisted by other ministers of the gospel. Interment will follow in Southern Cemetery, Cowpen and Spikenard Roads.
She is survived by her son: Kermit Mackey; daughters: Aremilda Carey, Altymease Murray and Linda Rahming; grandchildren: Wellington Albury, Alfreda Forbes, Shavonne Mackey, Andrew, Paul, Shane, Shawn, and Steve Mitchell, Patrice Sears, Antoinette Young, Susan Ronbinson; sons-in-Law: Sidney Rahming and Deacon Lanty Murray; brothers: Sherwin Smith; sister: Brenetha Smith; sister-in-law: Minister Dorothy Smith; 9 nephews: Floyd, Dedrick, Ricardo Smith (Freeport, Grand Bahama) Francio Collie, Michael Darling, Wilton Collie, Pedro Collie, Kevin Smith, Andrew Russell; 5 Nieces: Shanrika Rolle, Winifred Longley, Willimae Forbes, Jacklyn Rose, Vandette Smith; 23 great grandchildren: Telisha Turnquest, Tavashane Mitchell, Trivincia Mackey, Lakeisha Mackey, Lashaunda Wallace, Israel Wallace, Phillipa Culmer, Antenique Young, Thrineal Robinson, Shane Mitchell Jr., Daniel Mitchell Jr., Kshawn Mithell, Kshawn Ferguson, Joshua and Daniel Sears, Tavon Robinson, Isaiah Robinson, Shawnique Mitchell, Brianna Mitchell, Newrie Mitchell, Akeem Mackey, Kirkwood Rolle and Miracle Sears; 4 great-great grandchildren and a host of other family and friends including: Bethlehem Holiness Faith Mission Church Family, The Pilgrim Baptist Church of Chester's Acklins, The entire community of Chester's Acklins, Pastor Dereck Maycock and family, Pastor Edmund Johnson and family, Pastor Burton Fox and family, The Collie Family of Parrots Well, Mayaguana, The Deveaux Family, The Smith Family, Gloria Jones, Manera Rolle and family, Sylvia Collie and family, Dorothy King and family, Kevin Smith, Veronica Rigby and family, The Darling Family, The Beneby Family, The Stubbs Family, The Rose Family, Caretaker Keisha Ellis, Management and Staff of Henry F. Relatives and friends may pay their last respect at the Evergreen Mortuary on Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and again at the church on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until service time.
