Funeral Service for the Late Mildred Susan Black, 92, of Charles Vincent Street, will be held on Saturday July 14th, 11:00 a.m. at St. Matthew’s Anglican Church, Shirley Street. Fr. Crosley Walkine will officiate. Interment will follow in the church’s cemetery.
Left to mourn are seven (7) daughters: Maxine Callander, Lavern Barton (deceased), Deborah Pratt, Diana Brooks, Frances Horton, Lana Ross, Stephanie Moxey, and Marsha Black;
two (2) sons: Earl (Sonny) Haven and Frederick Black; one (1) adopted daughter: Theresamae Bridgewater; twenty-one (21) grand children: Toni Lewis, Keva Williams, Lorenzo, Marcus, Hugh, Dewitt and Precious Pratt, Scarlett Black, Fredericka, Fred, and Feleica Black, and Freda Johnson Lynette Forbes, Brittany Black, Lavert, Khalid and Bell Ross, Stephan Bullard, Renee Moxey, Robert Black and Earl Haven Jr.; fifteen (15) great grand-children; three (3) sons-in-law: Clifford Barton, Michael Brooks and Leonard Ross; two (2) daughters-in-law: Rosetta Haven and Carolyn Black; numerous nieces and nephews including: Joan Selver, Arnette Rigby, Coral Butler, Patricia Greenslade, Ester and Christine Dorsette, Wilfred & Lincoln Dorsette, Angela, Tyrone and Mark Haven, and children of the late Samuel Haven Sr., and a host of other relatives and friends including: Gareth Lewis, Sheryl Pratt, Clement Edgecome, Rose Black, Gloria Smith, Wellington Stubbs, Ethel Sands, Gertrude Forde, Albertha Edgecombe, Fredericka Munroe, and the family of St. Charles Vincent Street.
Friends may pay their last respects at Bethel Brothers Morticians, #32A Nassau Street on Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and on Saturday at the church from 10:00 a.m. until service time.
