A funeral service for Mrs. Edith Victoria Knowles, aged 92, of Twynam Avenue, Nassau, The Bahamas, who passed away peacefully at her residence on Sunday, 25th November, 2012, will be held at St. Anne's Anglican Church, Fox Hill, Nassau, on Friday, 30th November, 2012 at 3:30 p.m.
Reverend Father Hugh A. Bartlett will officiate and interment will follow in the Church Cemetery, Fox Hill, Nassau.
Edith was predeceased by her husband, Malachi Rufus Knowles; her eldest son, Reginald Winfield Knowles and youngest son, George Glen Knowles.
Left to cherish her memories are her three daughters, Miriam Cassandra Clarke (fondly known as "Trixie") Linda Maxine Lee and Paulette Elizabeth Covington; a son, Samuel Malachi Knowles; two daughters-in-law, Dianne Knowles and Inge Flineaux; three sons-in-law, John Lee, Paul Clarke and Timothy Covington; fourteen grandchildren, Scott Ward, Tiffany Knowles, Ian Lee, Krystynia Lee-d' Arville, Bianca Lee, Mark Knowles, Samara Albury, Byron Knowles, Etienne Christen, Benedict Christen, Sophia Clarke, Simone Lightbourn, Drew Lightbourn and Amber Lightbourn, twelve great-grandchildren, Ashton Ward, Graham Knowles, Brody Knowles, Presley Knowles, Maverick d'Arville, Brosnan d'Arville, Storm d'Arville, Jordyn Knowles, Emma Knowles, Valentina Knowles, Marcello Knowles and London Clarke, numerous relatives and friends including Fay Patterson, Teenie Jones, Barbara Sharky, Dr. Ian Kelly and Dr. Tonya Roker-Davis; caregivers, Judy Dove, Joan, Keisha and Lorna and the entire St. Anne's Parish family.
Relatives and friends may pay their respects at Kemp's Funeral Home Limited, 22 Palmdale Avenue, Palmdale, Nassau, on Thursday, 29th November, 2012, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
There will be no viewing at the church.
