Funeral Service for Catchiest George Albury “Uncle Boy” Johnson age 85 years a resident of Little Creek, South Andros, will be held Saturday 8th September 2012, 11:00 a.m. at Our Ladys of the Holy Souls Catholic Church, Deveaux Street. Officiating will be Most Reverend Patrick C. Pinder, S.T.D., C.M.G. assisted by other Clergy of the Catholic Archdiocese. Interment will be made in Catholic Cemetery, Tyler Street.
Left to cherish his memories of 60 plus years of marriage is his devoted wife Theresa, four sons: George Jr., Cleophas, Rev. Deacon Maxwell and Elakim Johnson, five daughters: Terecita Minnis, Esther Pinder, Nikitress Sands, Branhilda Basden and Mary Johnson. Three Son-in laws, Philip Minnis, Hubert Pinder, Joseph Sands. Two daughters-in-law Elizabeth & Estella Johnson. One Brother, Hezekiah Johnson. Two sisters, Christina Burrows and Eulene Kemp. Forty-one grandchildren: Jenifer Smith, Nikitrius, Jameell, Latasha and Georgina Johnson, Samuel Burrows, Mario & Edvardo Johnson, Shelton & Judith Rolle, Ingrid Johnson, McCario, Franklyn, Alvardo, Theresa, Kennyatta, Lucretia, Tristan, and Anton Johnson, Phanessa, Tavera, Chino, Ghandi and Kenny Minnis. Phillipa Gaitor, Eva Brown, Delano, Theodore, Shane Johnson, Ricardo Humes, Derrick McKenzie, Samantha Williams, McTavis, McNiece, McChenier, McRetina, and Joel Johnson, Shireen Hanna , Marvin, Warren, Owen Pinder Elkinesha, Elkin Johnson, Lynnette Johnson, Jonique Sands. Thirty-seven greatgrands, Five granddaughters-in-law,Nadia Johnson, Ann Minnis, Shamara Johnson, Rosemarie Moxey, Elreka Pinder. Two grandsons-in-law; Javal Rolle, Denny Gaitor.
