Funeral Service for Minister Salathiel Simmons, 82, of Miami Street and formerly of Tea Bay, Cat Island who died on September 5th 2012 will be held on Saturday at 10 a.m. at the Church of God of Prophecy, East Street, Tabernacle. Officiating will be Bishop Elgarnet B. Rahming assisted by Pastor Kendal Simmons. Interment will be in Lakeview Memorial Gardens, J.F.K. Drive.

He is survived wife: Beryl Simmons; Sons: Andrew, Jeffrey, Salathiel Jr., & Philip Simmons; Daughters: Yvonne, Donna and Loretta Simmons, Beverley Williams and Linda Pratt; Grandsons: Quincy Major Sr., Terez, Dorzier, Kellen and Kelson Simmons, Jamaal and Kendal Strachan, Samuel Jr., and Soldier Williams, Rolance Pratt and DeShaun Moxey; Granddaughters: Crystal and Candice Williams, Opal Strachan, Megan and Manderia Pratt, JeFay, Courtney, Ashleigh, Bethnay, Logan and Kendiesha Simmons; Great Grandchildren: Quincy Jr., and Naomi Major, Luke Simmons and Devin Williams; Son-in-laws: Samuel Williams Sr., Rolance Pratt Sr., and Duane Moxey; Daughters-in-laws: Joanne, Loretta, Karen and Daphne Simmons; Granddaughter-in-law: Teneile Simmons; Brother-in-law: Vivian Sands; Sisters-in-laws: Roslyn Riche and Cynthia Sands; Nephews: Willie Dawkins, Alphonsa Stubbs, Rodger, John and Sean Knowles, Richard Sands, Eugene and Kenton Sands; Nieces: Elnora Gibson, Ruth Cargill, Amanda Knowles, Elizabeth Johnson, Kayla Miller, Wanda Cartwright, Genivene and Mary Sands and Fiona Bain; Numerous Grand-nieces & nephews and The Family & Children of the late: Delegal Seymour, Charles and Marinetta Lundy, Louis Seymour, Zacchaeus Seymour, Everette Turner, Bursil Turner, Neville Turner, Erma Hart, Ronald Johnson and Olive Petty; Other Relatives and Friends: William Turner and family, Oris and Predencil Strachan, Brenda Davis and Family, Louise Riley and Family, Virginia Stubbs and Family, Daniel Penn and Family, Joseph and Clara Lewis and Family, Pastor Minerva Pratt and Family, Min. Friends may pay their last respects at East Sunrise Mortuary, Rosetta Street, Palmdale from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Friday and at the Tabernacle from 9 a.m. on Saturday until service time.
