Vernetta Elizabeth Major-Thurston Age 72 of East Street South and formerly of Mortimers Long Island died at the Princess Margaret Hospital on Saturday September 15th 2012.
She is survived by her Son: James Rahming, daughter: Carolyn ‘Geroda” Adderley. Sister: Ruth Wallace. Brothers: Livingston, Daniel and Bernard Major. Seven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral Service will be announced at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to Vaughn O. Jones Memorial Center.
