Memorial Service for the Late George Roberts, 94 years of New York, will be held on Monday April 15th, 2013, 10:00 a.m. at the Chapel of Bethel Brothers Morticians, #32 Nassau Street. Father Dwight Bowe will officiate. Cremains will be interned in the Western Cemetery, Nassau Street.
He is survived by 2 daughters: Patricia Ryans and Pamela Donaldson of New York; 2 grandchildren: Jade and Imani; 1 aunt: Olga Valerie Linton and family of New York; cousins: Eloise Whitten of Detroit and Olga Jenkins of New York; and a host of other relatives and friends including: Queenie Smith, Setella and George Cox & Family, Iris Dillet Knowles & Family, Herman Sawyer & Family, Neville Bethel & Family; the families of the late Carl, Marcus, Sybil and Cynthia (Baby) Bethel, Mildred Campbell & Olive Godet Cox; Hazel Roberts, Sandra Byles, Lorraine Turnquest, Ruby Bethel Clarke, Dolly Smith, Ruth Duncombe Sands, Helen Robinson Ingraham, Florence Gibbs Grey and P. Anthony White.
