Funeral service for Edward Vernal Martin, 59 yrs., a resident of Hay Street, will be held at Soul Winners House of Prayer, C.W. Saunders Highway, on Saturday at 1:00 p.m. Officiating will be Bishop Ivan Strachan, assisted by other Ministers. Interment follows in Southern Cemetery, Cowpen & Spikenard Roads.
Left to cherish his memories are his 2 sisters: Gwendolyn Johnson & Loretta Kemp; 1 brother: Cecil Martin; 2 brothers-in-law: George Johnson & Dennis Kemp; 1 grand aunt: Myrtle Strachan; 1 grand uncle: Bishop Ivan Strachan; 6 uncles: Stephen & Dave Moxey, Edgar, Donald, Qubie & James Martin; 2 aunts: Cita & Charlotte Martin & a host of other relatives & friends including the entire community of Staniel Cay, Exuma.
Friends may pay their last respects at Demeritte's Funeral Home, Market Street, from 10-6:00 p.m. on Friday & on Saturday at the church from 12:00 noon until service time.
