DEATH NOTICE for Mrs. Verna Lucille Knowles nee Wells, formerly of Nassau, The Bahamas and now of Hamiltons, Long Island died peacefully at her residence on 22nd April, 2013.
Loved and cherished by her husband of 60 years R. Leon Knowles, daughter Linda V. Brown, son-in-law Robert M. Brown, granddaughter Lauren (Brown) Connolly and husband Sean Connolly, granddaughters Danielle Brown and Kristin Brown, great-granddaughter Vivienne Connolly. Brother-in-law Edmund Knowles and sister-in-law Sandy Knowles. Many nieces including Agnes Knowles, Cherie Wells, Janette Cartwright, Ethylyn Cartwright and many nephews, including Everette Knowles. A host of other family members and dear friends. Special thanks to Bella Ramacola and Elvie Bandasan for their love and devotion. Thanks to Dr. Yvette Carter, the staff of the Deadman's Cay Health Center, Rev. Father Jonathan Archer and St. Paul's Parish for their kind assistance.
Instead of flowers, a donation may be made to The Ladies' Friendship Club, Gray's Long Island, The Bahamas in memory of Mrs. Verna L. Knowles.
A Memorial Service will be announced at a later date.
