Funeral service for the late Nellie E. Hanna, age 69 years of Palm Bay, Florida and formerly of Snug Corner, Acklins who died on Saturday December 14th, 2013 in Orlando Florida will be held on Sunday December 29th 2013 at 2:00pm at Church on the Rock, 4028 South Babcock Street, Melbourne, Florida. Interment follows at Fountainhead Memorial Park in Palm Bay, Florida.
Left to cherish her memories: Children: Halbert Eli Hanna, Janet Denton, Jason Hanna, Darlene Hanna, Gideon Hanna, Shareline Hanna, Osborne Hanna and Ansel Hanna; Sisters: Ida Cox and Margaret Mitchell; Brothers: Junior Osborne Cox, James Cox and Timothy Ancil Cox; Ten Grandchildren; Two Great Grandchildren; Many other loving family and friends too numerous to mention.
Nellie was born in Snug Corner, Acklins on October 8th 1944 to Osborne N. and Lerina Deveaux Cox. She was a hard worker for her children she was a loving mother and a father to all of them.
Raised Baptist, she always put others before herself as a real woman of god and child of the King. She was a woman of faith. The life she lives speaks for her, she was always for the right and the truth.
Nellie worked for Portion Control Supermarket in the Bahamas. In Florida, she worked for Clayton Crab House and at Super Flea Market.
