A Funeral service for the late Marlene Zenicazelaya (nee Thompson), aged 67 years of St. Alban's Drive, Nassau, The Bahamas, who died at her residence, on Saturday, 16th February, 2013, will be held at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, Shirley Street, Nassau,on Friday, 22nd February, 2013 at 2:00 p.m.
Father Anselm Russell will officiate and interment will follow in Western Cemetery, Nassau Street, Nassau.
She was predeceased by her loving parents, Kiral Meredith Sr. and Adeline Thompson, and brother Kiral Meredith Thompson Jr.
Left to cherish the precious memories of this wonderful soul are her husband: Captain Daniel Zenicazelaya; her sister: Kay Thompson; her son: Iñigo Zenicazelaya; two (2) grandsons: Santxol and Andoni Zenicazelaya; one (1) brother-in-law: Ignacio Zenicazelaya; one (1) daughter-in-law: Jamillah Zenicazelaya; one (1) niece: Lisa Thompson Law; four (4) nephews: Kiral Meredith iii and Darren Thompson, Ignacio and Saul Zenicazelaya; numerous great nieces and nephews including: Carly and Patrick Earl, and Adeline Law; numerous cousins including Dorothea, Donald, David and Raymond Thompson and family, Agatha Sawyer and family, Madeline Cranfill and family, Francine Fomon and family, Jimmy and Ray Thompson and family, Douglas Thompson and family (Minnesota, USA), William Saunders Sr., Scott, Janice, and William Saunders Jr. and family; numerous relatives in Bilbao, Spain including Mirren, Mikel and Andoni Iturrizaga and family; numerous relatives in California, USA; numerous family and friends including: Jeannie Kuhn-Thompson, Jeff Law, Jean Ann Holm, Carmina Massey, Jill Pike and Noreen Wurdemann; and many other relatives and friends.
She will never be forgotten by her loving pets.
Instead of flowers the family request that donations be sent to theCancer Caring Centre, East Terrace, Centreville, P.O. Box S.S. 6539, Nassau or to St. Martin's Convent, Nassau Street, P.O. Box N. 940, Nassau, in memory of Marlene Zenicazelaya.
