D. Loree Delahey, age 87 of Nassau, The Bahamas, died at Doctors Hospital, Collins Avenue, Nassau, on Tuesday, 29th January, 2013.
Loree was born in Nassau, The Bahamas, on 6th October, 1925. She was the daughter of the late Harcourt and Mabel Kelly of Kelly's Bakery and sister of the late Dr. Maurice George (Manny) Kelly and wife of the late Donald K. Delahey.
Loree met Don when he was stationed in Nassau during World War II and they married in 1946 and started Playtours, Bahamas Tourist Company.
Ree as she is affectionately known by family and friends is survived by her sons, Don and Richard Delahey; daughters, Linda Turtle Simms and Sheila Delahey Pritchard; two granddaughters, Courtney Loree Turtle and Sydney Delahey; a grandson, Dylan Delahey; a son-in-law, Terry Simms and a sister-in-law, Kristin Kelly-Painton.
