Funeral service for Harold Samson Demeritte, 79 yrs., a resident of Montell Heights & formerly of Red Bays, Andros, will be held at St. Barnabas Anglican Church, Wulff & Baillou Hill Roads, on Friday at 10:00 a.m. Officiating will be Fr. Roderick Bain. Interment follows in Southern Cemetery, Cowpen & Spinkenard Roads.
Left to cherish his memories are his loving wife, Margaretta.
Three Daughters: Sonia Demeritte, Sherlymae Colebook and Jannet Demeritte.
One Son: William Romer Demeritte.
Two Adopted Daughters: Anthonette and Bernadette Knowles.
One Adopted Son: Daniel.
Eleven Grandsons: Matthew, Huey, Tyrone, Darran, Zavia, William, Henry, Joshua, Edward, Ashton, Christipher, Jason Richard, Alvin and Joel.
Seven Grand-Daughters: Rodina, Laurene, Sherry, Sharon, Lavinia, Jennifer and Karissa.
One Son-in-law: Clarence Colebrooke.
Three Sisters-in-law: Louise Romer, Gloria Minnis and Roxanna Cartwright.
Two Brothers-in-law: Victor Cartwright and Austin Minnis.
Fourteen Nephews: Don, Walter and Patrick Demeritte, 1568 Mark Demeritte, Laurence Demeritte, Nehemiah Lewis, Preston, Ricardo, Edward, Donald, Pappy, Treva, Thomas and Reggie Smith.
Twenty-Four Nieces: Arlettea Clarke of Tarpum Bay, Eleuthera, Maria Demeritte, Ellen Fransoir, Trisha, Tenay, Austinique, Roshan, Monique, Amelia, Keva, Elizabeth, Tasha, Kishie, Cleo, Raynell, Stacia, Mellisa, Benika, Victoria, Jada, Tessa and Charlene.
