Memorial Service for Mirah May Clarke nee Byfield, age 70 years, a resident of Joan’s Heights, formerly of St. Catherine’s, Jamaica, will be held on Thursday June 13th, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at South West Cathedral Church, Carmichael Road. Officiating will be Bishop Donnie Storr.
Left to cherish her memories are her children: Patricia and Matthew Ashley, Millicent Clarke, Deon Clarke, and Collette Clarke; her grandchildren: Catura and Dekell Thompson, Monalisa Duncombe, Taurus Duncombe, Ronette and Richard Pitt, Rhielle Clarke-Galanos, Deon Clarke Jr. and Caleb Clarke; great grandchildren: Brittany Louis, Meghan Sturrup, Starmarie Sturrup, Joshua Thompson, Dekellson Thompson and Datorio Kelly; one sister: Veronica Henry; two nieces: Heather Robinson and Oslene Robinson; one nephew: Rohan Robinson; other relatives and friends including: Elmina Hunt, Clifford Higgins, Harold “Paul” Heath, Charles ‘Paulie’ Heath , Tanya and Keith Major, Takietha and Keith Hunt Jr., Barbara Rahming McCartney and family, Derrington and Annamae Rahming and family, Cheryl Bodie, the family of the late Erma Fernander, Shirley Adderley and family, Annie Morley and family, Winifred Bastian and family, Deon Seymour-Cox and Lavern Seymour and family, Sharon Seymour and family, Cindy Morley and family, Ethleyn Arnette and family, Deborah Gittens and family, Nathalie Desouza, Gerald Ranger, G.R. Sweeting & Sons Staff and many others too numerous to mention.
Her remains will be interred in Jamaica at a later date.
There will be no viewing.
Arrangements are being handled by Butlers’ Funeral Homes and Crematorium, Ernest and York Streets.
